Here’s what the wine press has to say:
92 points - Jim Gordon, Wine Enthusiast - “An excellent medium-bodied wine from an estate better known for its olives, this is dark in color but with a lighter, tawny rim. The complex aromas combine sweet baking spices with ample cherry and berry notes. Flavors kick in with juicy strawberry, dark cherry and subtle shadings of nutmeg and wood smoke. The texture is plush and almost soft, and the taste is warmly luxurious.”
Gemlike dark ruby red, with a perfectly clear core and glistening red edges.

This wine is incredibly smooth on entry. After a few beats of time, the wine settles onto the palate, driving fresh fruit flavors into the deep corners. After another beat, earth and spice components make themselves known. The wine then takes on a softly grippy, softly chewy feel that adds to the complexity and the intrigue of this amazing wine.
Pair this dynamo with seared pork chops with grilled stonefruit (cherries, apricot & peach) and rosemary. Rub the chops with smoked paprika, coarsely ground coffee, salt and cracked pepper.
