This wine is dark, juicy, bold and so very delicious. Steal some from us at today’s great price of 50% off.
This wine is super fragrant, with beautiful aromas of blackberry, black cherry, cassis, cedar, warm spice, licorice, toasted oak, baker’s chocolate, twigs and a faint hint of black pepper.
Juicy and delicious on the palate, with flavors of blackberry juice, cassis, plum, black cherry, chocolate covered espresso bean, licorice, flint and subtle black pepper.
Winemaker Gary Sitton made this wine during his run at Clos du Bois. Prior to his posting there, he led winemaking at Blackstone Sonoma Winery and Ravenswood. This is one of Gary’s final wines, made before he left Clos du Bois to return to Ravenswood where he assumed the role of General Manager and Director of Winemaking.
From its first vintage in 1974, to its rise to critical acclaim in the 80s, Clos du Bois has established itself as one of Sonoma County’s premier wineries. We’re proud to bring you today’s wine which is the ultimate expression of Clos’ ongoing commitment to crafting superior California wines.
Reserve yours quickly, we don’t have much!
