Mission Codename The Art of Intelligence
Today’s special wine was made by Timothy Milos, former winemaker for the $300 Cab producer, the lovechild of Robert Mondavi, the opulent Opus One Winery… as well as Baron Philippe de Rothschild.
Today, Timothy focuses his efforts on smaller boutique wine producers. He is a consulting winemaker at a handful of such wineries in Napa and Sonoma.
Earlier this year, we featured a 2011 Cabernet from our friends at Viluko Vineyards. That wine set a record - for the best-selling 2011 Cabernet we’ve ever shown.
If that wine was great, today’s is fantastic.
While we still have some in stock, I encourage you to reserve a few bottles (cases?) of today’s Viluko Vineyards 2012 Split Rock Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine hails from the 2012 vintage, which Robert Parker awarded a stunning score of 96E. That E is for extraordinary.
Reserve yours soon!
