Mission Codename Raised with Love
Today’s Ultra QPR (Quality to Price Ratio) wine is very highly recommended.
Score big with today’s very special Pinot Noir from our friend, winemaker Petar Kirilov. His Kukeri Wines 2016 “Daria” Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir Cuvee is a truly exceptional wine at one heck of a great price.
This young wine is ready to drink now. Bright, fruit-forward and sublimely delicious. You’ll want to stock up on this one!
Beautifully aromatic on the nose, with aromas of Bing cherry, raspberry, rose petal, red licorice, red currant, soft spice and just a hint of fresh mint leaf.
Juicy and delicious on the palate, with flavors of raspberry, rose petal, cherry, red licorice, red currant, pomegranate, soft spice, soft oak.
Kukeri wines are really something special and we are super proud of our longstanding relationship with this heretofore undercover winery. We love finding small boutique gems like Kukeri for you. We first discovered the wines of Petar Kirilov in 2013, and we’ve been following his career - and his wine gems - ever since.
The Sonoma Coast AVA (American Viticultural Area), established in 1987, is the region directly adjacent to the Pacific coastline of Sonoma County. The ocean’s influence causing a cooler, higher rainfall and foggy climate most influences the vineyards of this region, many of which have exceptional views of the mighty Pacific. These factors cause grapes to mature and ripen more slowly, which is ideal for Burgundian varietals like Chardonnay. The region is approximately 750 square miles with about 7,000 acres under vine.
Drink now through 2021.
