Look:

Inky dark garnet, with a slightly opaque heart. After a swirl, thin, branching legs move slowly down the glass wall, streaking the glass with color as they move.

Chocolate covered cherry, blackberry jam, sweet cedar, boysenberry, black licorice, sweet spice, cassis and savory cured meat.

Taste:

Blackberry preserve, black cherry juice, stewed plum, grilled fig, cassis, cured meats, black licorice, smoky cherry bark, savory spice, black tea and black pepper.

Finish:

Flavors linger on the palate for a very long time, with dark fruits slowly giving way to rich, earthy flavors. Plush and drying with medium tannins.
