2010 Napa Cabs, from the decade’s best 99 point vintage, are nearly impossible to find. Fortunately for us, Palladian held theirs back until it was just perfect. Today’s Palladian Estate Winery 2010 Reserve Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a limited-availability stunner.

Lush aromas waft from the glass to greet you on the nose, with layers of black cherry, raspberry, cassis, licorice, cigar box, cedar, pencil shavings, red currant, baker’s chocolate, sweet spice and a hint of savory dried herbs.

Aromas from the nose are almost completely mirrored on the palate, with flavors of black cherry, blackberry, cassis, chocolate covered cherry, pencil shavings, river rock, licorice, mixed spice, and a hint of black pepper.

The 2010 Napa Cabernet vintage was rated 99 points by Wine Spectator editor in chief, James Laube. Others agree that the 2010 vintage is the best in a decade - and the best we’ve seen since the fabled 2007 vintage.
