Be quick, Operatives!
A deal this good - on a wine this great - will not last the day. We are almost certain to sell out of today’s Wine Guerrilla 2012 “Equanimity” Dry Creek Valley Red Wine, so don’t say that we didn’t warn you.
If you love juicy, fruit-driven reds, this balanced beauty is sure to please.
Sweet and mouthwatering on the nose (yes, mouthwatering nose), with aromas of black cherry, blackberry compote, sandalwood, braised plum, dried blueberry, cassis, subtle exotic incense and dark brown spice.
Darkly delicious, with rich flavors of blackberry reduction, leather, spice box, grilled blueberry, braised plum, smoky cherry, tobacco leaf, and a hint of black pepper.
The Dry Creek Valley AVA in northeastern Sonoma (north of Healdsburg) County is somewhat warmer and wetter than the neighboring Russian River Valley AVA region just to the south, and the Alexander Valley AVA just to the east. The warmer and wetter climate provides great versatility with regard to the types of grapes that can be effectively cultivated in the region.
