Mission Briefing
Emergence
Are you seeking the perfect summer-to-fall transition wine? Look no further, dear Operative, we’ve got the shining, delicious, food-fantastic VinRoc Wine Caves 2015 Napa Valley Chardonnay.
This wine took our tasting panel by storm, with some on the panel declaring this wine to be one of the best Chards we’ve shown this year!
Fresh & breezy on the nose, with aromas of fresh white peach, apricot, pineapple, lychee, mandarin orange, lilac and a hint of white spice.
Fruit really shines through on the palate, with flavors that lead with Meyer lemon, apricot, pineapple and lime leaf. These are followed by acacia, yellow peach, pear, slate and a hint of soft spice.
We first featured VinRoc Wine Caves back in 2009. We later featured a single wine in 2010 and one in 2011. Why haven’t we seen them since? Their wines are very limited-production - and usually quite unavailable. Agent Red was persistent in trying to obtain another VinRock wine and he was finally successful. Today’s VinRoc Wine Caves 2015 Napa Valley Chardonnay is a truly exceptional Chardonnay that gives the likes of Rombauer and others a run for their money.
Be sure to grab enough to have some on hand for the coming holidays. This wine will impress and delight your most discerning guests.
