On the nose, this wine is rich and full, with aromas of burnished plum, kola nut, black cherry, black currant, sweet tobacco leaf, brown spice and grilled mission fig. On the palate, this wine shows off rich notes of black cherry, burnished plum, orange pekoe tea leaf, seasoned leather, dried cranberry, soft spice, coffee bean and kola nut.
Here’s what the wine press has to say.
Michelle Williams - Rockin Red Blog - “Bright violet with deep purple hues; baked blackberries and plums, wet tobacco leaves, dark chocolate, hint of roasted coffee beans, dried violets, baking spice, and trailing vanilla; on the palate the fruit becomes more red berries wrapped in dusty earth, a nice balance of tannins and acidity wrap the mouth, lighter in body than expected, long dusty finish.”
Dark garnet through the heart of the wine, with a magenta rim. Tall, skinny, legs descend slowly down the glass wall.

Bone dry, mineral-infused finish with a medium body. At the end, soft, powdery tannins leave the palate with a plush, dry feel.
Enjoy this wine with a grilled skirt steak with a fresh chimichurri sauce.
