We guarantee that you’ll love it.

This beauty of a wine was made by Karl Lehman, who honed his considerable winemaking skills at Storybook Mountain, another Wine Spies favorite.

Karl has crafted scores of 90+ point wines, with handfuls of them at 95 points or higher. Karl’s wines have landed on many a Top 100 wines list. All of Karl’s vintages with Storybook Mountain yielded critical acclaim in the form of scores in the 94 to 96 point range.

Today’s intriguing wine entices on the nose, with complex aromas of fresh fig, caramel, yellow peach, baked apple, mixed citrus, cantaloupe, creme brûlée, vanilla, and sweet white spice.

As opulent as the nose is, the palate is every bit as stunning, with flavors of lemon flower, honeysuckle, white peach, white spice, dried apricot, nectarine, white raspberry, passionfruit, and ultra-subtle dried herbs.

The Napa Valley AVA (American Viticultural Area) is located in Napa County, California, United States. Napa Valley is considered one of the foremost wine regions in the world. Wine grapes thrive here, due to the combination of geography, the Mediterranean climate and geology of the region, which are perfect for wine grape growing. The region was established as a wine-growing region with its first commercial vineyard, which was planted in 1858.

In 1976, the region rose to prominence when a Napa Valley wine rocked the wine world by winning the fabled “Judgement of Paris”, beating out French wines in a blind tasting.

Today’s wine is offered to you with our fullest recommendation!

Light straw yellow at the edges, slightly darker towards the core, perfect clarity throughout. At the bottom of the bowl, the wine shows off its unfined & unfiltered glory - with small snow-like crystals.

Lemon flower, honeysuckle, white peach, white spice, dried apricot, nectarine, white raspberry, passionfruit, and ultra subtle dried herbs.

So soft. So elegant. So very delicious, from start to end. Silky on entry, then very gradually drying, with plush, soft tannins.
