Mission Codename ...aaaand Furthermore!
Our tasting panel went crazy for this wine. It’s just one of those Pinot Noirs where you get to the bottom of the glass and say, “Where did that go?!”
Critics agree with 93 points from the Wine Enthusiast and 90 points from Robert Parker, it seems as though Furthermore, which specializes in Pinot, is on to something. This is a darker than average Pinot Noir with a crimson hue from the center to the rim. The wine has a beautiful clean nose with aromas of violets, cherry, strawberry, pluot, and hibiscus. As soon as it hits the palate, it is expansive with flavors of stone fruit, brambles, allspice, red fruit, cherry, with a subtle meatiness. As the color suggested, this Pinot Noir has a bit more weight than average, with a nice medium body that fills the palate with supple tannin that fades slowly and gracefully. This delicious wine could pair well with pretty much anything, but in particular, it would go nicely with a classic turkey dinner. Celebrate Thanksgiving early, or lay this wine down for the holidays.

Here’s what the wine press has to say.
93 Points - Wine Enthusiast - “This winery is packaging the freshness and restraint that’s possible in this region, with this bottling offering aromas of pomegranate, red currant and star anise on the nose. The palate is vibrant with red fruit, yet it is the bay leaf, wild mint and fennel pollen flavors that impress most and carry deep into the finish.”
90 Points - Robert Parker
