Prepare to be rocked, Operative! Today’s Immix 2015 Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc was a smash hit with our entire tasting panel. We love it. This wine was made by Morgan Maureze, who was born in France and worked for greats like Screaming Eagle, DRC, Dalla Valle, and Petrus, to name a few.

This SB is a beautiful shade of peridot mixed with pale straw and it has a jewel-like clarity. The nose grabs you with a beautiful crisp bouquet of Asian pear, lemon-lime, green almond, white peach, and honeysuckle. The palate is replete with bright tree fruit including both Granny Smith and Golden Delicious apple. There’s a note of key lime pie as well backed by loquat and lychee. Bright and crisp acidity is the name of the game here with a mouth-puckering tartness that sour candy lovers will particularly enjoy, all while offering wonderful summer refreshment. It would wonderfully contrast with a classic Caprese salad of mozzarella, heirloom tomato, and basil with EVOO and balsamic vinegar.
