Mission Codename For the finicky
For only the second time since 2015, Coleman Nicole is back - with another fabulous Pinot Noir. We’re really smitten with their wines and one sip of today’s Pinot Noir reveals everything that you need to know. This wine is balanced, fragrant, elegant, and delicious. Celebrate this great offer with us, Pinot lovers!
This wine is absolutely beautiful in this glass with a hazy maroon color permeating throughout. The nose is equally lovely with spicy, fragrant notes of dried roses, cardamom, sandalwood, preserved strawberries, and dusty bramble. The wonderful experience doesn’t stop at the palate with chocolatey notes of walnut and marzipan, rhubarb, cherry, and cola. If you can’t tell yet, we loved this wine, and its evident at every level that it is well constructed. The tannins are incredibly silky, the mouthfeel round and full, while still being light effortless. Floral notes linger longest on the finish. The proper pairing? You simply don’t need one. This tremendous wine should be the star of the show.
Today’s wine was made by longtime Wine Spies Operative favorite winemaker, Jason Moore. Jason has stunned us with his wines, in the past, breaking sales records and creating many satisfied Operatives. Jason currently makes wines for Coleman Nicole, Modus Operandi, Gentleman Farmer (formerly Poem Cellars), Cielo Malibu Estate Vineyards, RHEO Cellars, and Ashton Lockett Wines. Today makes the first time we have featured a Pinot Noir made by Jason. We wonder why we waited so long!
