So, how is the wine? It’s love at first sight with a dense dark red blend that coats the edge of the glass and holds on tight. “Hello, Beautiful!” A spicy, clean and fresh bouquet greets you with notes of plum, sandalwood, raspberry, nutmeg, and vanilla bean. The palate is even lusher with juicy cherry and boysenberry, milk chocolate, toasty coffee, and black currant. The highest accolades are awarded to the mouthfeel, with silky smooth tannins that gracefully coat the palate and provides excellent structure for this sophisticated blend. As for food pairings, this robust treat would be great with a steak. For the ultimate experience, enjoy it with a nice rare Filet Mignon.

Agent Red once asked Ravenswood’s winemaker, Joel Peterson what his winemaking philosophy was. His answer: “Wines should reflect the flavors of the places that they were grown.
