Aiken For You
Another monstrous deal from Aiken! Do you love sultry, rich Pinot with hulk-like power and Grace Kelly type beauty? What about a proper 67% off? Meaning this outrageously sexy Pinot is no longer $75…not even close. Last month we offered a different Aiken Pinot and y’all went bananas for it, cleaning us out - so please, PLEASE lock some down if you missed out because this won’t last long!
JOEL AIKEN! A man at the top of his class among an elite list of winemakers in Napa. When you spend 30 years immersed in the Napa winemaking scene, helping establish the vision for Beaulieu’s Georges DeLatour Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, and working alongside Michel Rolland and André Tchelistcheff, you get that sort of reputation.
This tastes expensive - as a $75 Pinot should…but of course, at our price today the quality is simply unmatched. Full bodied, lush and highly aromatic. Piles, no make that MOUNTAINS of cherry pie, strawberry licorice, cola and vanilla, with a hint of earth and spice. Dense, round and opulent, every taste of this brilliant Pinot charges you with soul replenishing goodness.
Second chances don’t come around often, and if last month’s Aiken Pinot is any indication, this will be gone before you know it. Don’t sleep on it!
Social Distancing has got us all couped-up, so we wanted to virtually bring us all together. Anyone who purchases this wine will be invited to join us for a virtual tasting of this Aiken Pinot on April 3 on Zoom (a free video meeting software). Agent Noir will do a quick dive into the wine’s background and you can meet the rest of the Agents and socialize with some other humans!
Surprisingly dense core for a Pinot with deep purple edges, indicative of more robust drinking experience.
Absolutely pristine and clean, with fresh, ripely developed notes bursting with violets, raspberry, strawberry and plum.
The parade of fruit continues on the palate with crisp, delightful hints of bing cherry, fresh-picked strawberry, cola, caramel, and subtle vanilla-bean.
You cannot ask for a prettier Pinot Noir. It’s just silk. As balanced as a race car after being tuned by the pros. Bravo Joel!
This wine would pair with practically anything, but really, can’t you just enjoy this masterpiece by itself?
