Did you not see it coming, it’s December and POP GOES THE CHAMPAGNE!

Besides a last call on our Grand Cru bargain find of the year (93 points, 36 bucks, hello?) there are bubbly gems galore here in the Store, today only. All are rare and extraordinary; most are just a few cases. Many a Grand and Premier Crus, with the best prices anywhere guaranteed, the juiciest of deals start at $47 for a great Vintage, all the way to $249 for the ultimate luxury experience that normally should go for $400! Ratings are BIG as usual, almost all in the 95-100 range, naturally. Vintages span across the well-cellared 2002 through the fresh off the boat 2015s.

Speaking of luxury…

This one of for those who know… “one of Champagne’s finest houses, Pol Roger produces among the most consistent ranges of all the Grandes Marques. The style is full-bodied and elegantly fleshy…” per Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate and this vintage Blanc de Blancs is all that and more, as Vinous was “struck by the quality of the 2015s, Champagnes that deliver plenty of Pol Roger stylishness…”

After all, Karla Alindahao of Forbes asks the ultimate question: “Has anyone ever had a bad Pol Roger? I think not. Hey, it was good enough for Churchill, so it’s certainly good enough for us mere mortals. And while many enthusiasts spring for the (more expensive) Winston Churchill cuvées, I still favor the house’s Blanc de Blancs.”
