Mission Codename The King of Pinot
You don’t need Hollywood to tell you to drink Pinot Noir. You came to swoon over great examples of the varietal all on your own, didn’t you?
Today we have a really superb Pinot Noir for you from Furthermore Wines. Their 2011 La Encantada Vineyard Pinot Noir came from the vineyard that Richard Sanford himself planted in 1971 and was showcased in the movie Sideways. This historic vineyard is the birthplace of some of the most sought-after Pinots in the Sta. Rita Hills AVA - and maybe all of California.
Today’s wine is complex, juicy, elegant and a true treat to imbibe. Enjoy!
