I’ve worked in specialty food, wine, beer, and spirits for close to two decades as a buyer, director or chef. So yeah, I care way too much about what’s on my plate and in my glass.

I’m fueled by good food, good people, trying new things, experimenting, random conversations with strangers, and a lot of laughter. My inner circle is strictly “don’t take yourself too seriously” energy. (except for cheese…I love cheese)!

Favorite vacation spot when I’m stressed? Denial. It’s affordable and I go often.

Favorite driving song: Ceremony, by New Order or some old Moby vibes.

Let’s do this music? Think skater punk with a little goth mixed in meets jazz and horns. I break out into a dance party with myself, every time I experience something super tasty.

I live with two calico cat sisters, I adopted as adults who run the house and make frequent guest appearances on Zoom. They’re very committed to being the center of attention or body slamming my keyboard.

Hobbies? Anything that lets me be creative! From repurposing something old into something new, cooking, grilling or capturing something with my hoard of cameras. I shoot landscapes, architecture, and whatever random thing catches my eye, and I paint when I need to get out of my own head.

Lately I’ve been eyeing welding, because creating industrial lighting feels like the next step in my creative journey following MCM pre atomic industrial lighting.
